The USF radio station, 88.7 WCSF, will be hosting its Annual Rummage Sale this year on November 15. The “Mega Music Rummage Sale” will take place on the St. Clare campus on the corner of Plainfield Road and Theodore Street. The sale will be in the Assembly Hall and will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Rummage Sale attendees will have the opportunity to pay $20 for Earlybird admission to get into the sale an hour early.

This sale is dependent on donations that WCSF receives throughout the year. People have the opportunity to donate any used media they no longer need. Hidden gems can be found in the sale in a variety of forms, including LPs and 45s, compact discs, cassettes, sheet music, movies, music books, musical instruments, stereo equipment and more music-related items.

Items will range in price depending on their condition and demand, with the lowest priced items starting at just one dollar. All of the proceeds benefit the college radio station and aid in maintaining its licensing and station expenses. WCSF is a nonprofit radio station that serves the Joliet area. The station plays a variety of music in every category, with student-run shows highlighting genres that they find most appealing. The most awaited special every year, though, is the ever-so-popular “Spirit of Christmas.”

WCSF is best known for its “Spirit of Christmas” specialty programming that begins each year on Thanksgiving Day and runs through New Year's Day. This special is well known in the Joliet area and is something that the locals look forward to every year. “Spirit of Christmas” is possible through the help of donors, the Mega Music Rummage Sale and the daily listeners. To listen to WCSF, locals can tune to 88.7 FM,
