Plainfield Portillo's

A new Portillo's location has opened its doors on Monday in the Village of Plainfield Illinois. Much like other Portillo's locations that have opened in recent years, this new location will be drive-through and pick up only. According to NBC5Chicago, the mayor of Plainfield John Argoudelis is thrilled to have a Portillo's in the Village of Plainfield as he shows optimism over the potential success for this new Portillo's. This new location is said to be the fourth drive-through and pick up only location in the Chicagoland area. The only downside to the opening of this new location is the fact that it will reside one town away from the Shorewood location, which could potentially lower the number of customers even more.

Portillo's is an iconic Chicagoland staple, one that even has other locations across America. This corporate enterprise is very well known for the food they serve such as their Italian beef and Chicago style hotdog. Portillo's is typically seen by most Americans as a positive area to interact with people, such as friends and even family members. Portillo's is even known throughout any town as a restaurant with an incredibly large drive-through line and a place that marks a person's order with a label such as W1 (White 1).

Portillo's is also known as an establishment with a speed team, meaning they are considered one of the many corporate restaurants to have employees that work at an overwhelmingly fast pace. With the limitations of a drive-through and order pick up option, it's truly debatable if yet another location with these limited options will succeed as even Portillo's is a restaurant that succeeds and thrives on having customers dine into their establishments. With this exciting new development in the Chicagoland area, time will truly tell if this will be yet another successful expansion for the Portillo's corporation.
