The best celebrity Halloween costumes of 2025

As the weekend of Halloween, known commonly in the media as “Halloweekend”, comes to a close, there is ongoing discussion about the best Halloween costumes that celebrities debut this week. To no surprise, the A-List celebrities brought their A-Game when it came to the best, most elaborate costumes. 


The most well-known costume Queen, Heidi Klum, did not fall short for this year’s Halloween costume. Klum, best known for her work as a model, takes Halloween costumes very seriously and never falls short in the eyes of the media. While the public was in awe of her costume last year as a hyperrealistic worm, Klum began plotting what could top that in 2025. This year, Klum did the impossible by going even larger than last year; she debuted her Medusa costume paired with the man she turned to stone.

Taylor Lautner and his wife, Taylor (Tay) Lautner, took a more comical approach with their “Step Brothers” costume. This pair often receives comments from the media for the irony of husband and wife both being Taylor Lautner and decided to play that to their advantage. While this costume is not as elaborate as some of the others, it brings a laugh to those aware of the Taylor Lautner and Taylor Lautner confusion. 


While many celebrities took to dressing as pop culture favorites or mythological figures, Demi Lovato took the internet by storm dressing as “Poot Lovato”. “Poot Lovato” was a meme that started circulating in 2015 after a fan of Demi Lovato edited a picture taken of her and joked that “Poot” was Lovato’s long-lost sister. The joke that has lasted over a decade has finally made it full circle as Demi Lovato dressed as Poot for Halloween and played along that she has kept Poot locked away all these years.

While everyone decides who did Halloween best this year, the media agrees that Demi “Poot” Lovato won the internet with her clever costume. Celebrities always have every part of their life under a magnifying glass, and it is comical when they can make fun of themselves.

Joliet Fire and Police Commissioners Announce Special Meeting

 The Council Chambers, located on the second level of Joliet City Hall at 150 West Jefferson Street, will host a special meeting of the City of Joliet Boards of Fire and Police Commissioners on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 5:30 PM.
